European white oak. Mafkildea classic grade. White Oak undergoes a medium degree of colour change, with a slight ambering over time. FSC from a sustainable source.
Slightly more maintenance required for woods with an oiled finish but easier to touch up worn areas or marks and it gives a very natural appearance.

Colour: Medium degree of colour variability. Colour ranges from light to medium tan colours with natural mineral elements to medium brown.
Hardness and Stability: White Oak is 108% as hard as red oak with average stability.
Installation: Secret nail or glue down. Allow at least 5-10% for wastage when installing and simply cut out pieces you do not like.
