Advantages
The sausage version of the adhesive has a higher bond strength and is designed specifically to cope with less adhesive coverage bonding the flooring to the ground.
The sausage format does not offer the same protection against moisture as the fully bonded product and care must be taken to ensure the residual moisture content of the substrate is below the recommended levels for wood flooring. Should the levels of moisture be too high we would recommend the use of Rewmar MB liquid DPM system.
