Colour : Yellow birch has a white sapwood and light reddish brown heartwood. Generally straight-grained with a fine uniform texture and characterised by a plain and often curly or wavy pattern.
Stability & Hardness: Dried timber is similar to oak in most strength properties, and superior to that timber in compression along the grain, stiffness and toughness.
Installation: Secret nail or stick down.
